"It’s a surreal feeling to know that I am about to be a small part of such a Historic Event."

The 93rd Annual Texas Cowboy Reunion in Stamford, Texas will hear and see a new face in the arena.  The TCR proudly welcomes Pro Rodeo Clown and Barrel Man, Ronald Burton!

The Philadelphia, Mississippi native travels all over the United States entertaining rodeo fans of all ages.  In over 20 years of entertaining fans,  Ronald has become a family-friendly staple of rodeo entertainment.

He has earned a very honorable distinction among several rodeo associations including the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) , the United Professional Rodeo Association (UPRA) and the Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA).  He has had the privilege to serve as entertainer of the Ram Great Lakes Circuit finals and named Contract Act of the Year a record 12 Times in the CPRA.

But it’s not just about entertaining for Ronald.  He is known as one of the best Barrelmen in the industry.  His past experiences as a bull fighter has equipped him with knowledge of barrel placement, cowboy protection, and especially, bull fighter safety.

Ronald has appeared on ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover Home Edition, Discovery Channel’s Battleground Earth, and has been featured in the Coca-Cola advertisement for the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Ronald has also been featured in a documentary film that chronicles his life as a rodeo clown, called Man in the Can, now available on DVD and Amazon Prime.

When asked how it feels to be headed to the TCR, Ronald Burton said

“It’s a surreal feeling to know that I am about to be a small part of such a Historic Event.  The Texas Cowboy Reunion is known worldwide, and I have been hoping to get the opportunity to come to this event for a while now.  I’m ready to check it out, and see what this event is all about.”

The Texas Cowboy Reunion can not wait to see Ronald’s barrel roll out into the arena this year June 28th through July 1st.Â
