The 96th Texas Cowboy Reunion once again proved why it remains one of the premier western celebrations in Texas. Four outstanding rodeo performances, tremendous crowds throughout the week, and nearly 1,000 competitive runs and rides highlighted another memorable year in Stamford.

Contestants from across the country competed for their share of $237,700 in rodeo payouts over the four-day event. By the time Championship Saturday came to a close, the Texas Cowboy Reunion had recorded 993 total rodeo runs and rides, showcasing some of the very best competition in rodeo.

In addition to the UPRA-sanctioned events, fans enjoyed many of the Texas Cowboy Reunion’s cherished traditions including Double Mugging, Wild Cow Milking, Pioneer Barrels, Old Timers competitions, Ranch Horse Competition, Matched Horse Races, Mutton Bustin’, the Grand Parade, BBQ Cook-Off, Chuckwagon Cook-Off, and the Old Timers Fiddlers Contest.
