The theme for the 2022 Texas Cowboy Reunion Grand Parade is “Off to the Races.” The
Parade will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at 4 p.m. in downtown Stamford.

What does ‘Off to the Races’ mean to you?

Do you picture big fancy hats, horses & jockeys at the Kentucky Derby? What about NASCAR
and checkered flags? Or even Hot Wheels? How about a foot race? Or our very own Matched Horse Races?

Whatever your vision of this year’s Parade theme looks like, you’re invited to come kick-off the 2022 TCR in the Grand Parade!

Stamford High School Girls’ Athletics have been chosen to lead the TCR Grand Parade again this
year as the Parade Marshals. The girls’ basketball team made it all the way to the State Championship Tournament, finishing #2 in the Texas Division 2A overall, so they have definitely earned this honor. However, just this past week, the girls’ softball team once again made it to the State Championship
Tournament for the second year in a row. They served as Parade Marshals last year, and we are excited to have them join us again this year too, as many of the athletes participate in both sports.

Want to be a part of the TCR Grand Parade?

Register your float, classic car, convertible, boat, riding club, bicycle, golf cart, company vehicle & more online at the bottom of this page. There is no cost to enter the parade, but you must enter online to be considered for prizes. Deadline to register is Monday, June 27 at 5 p.m. You may still participate in the parade even if you have not registered, but you will not be eligible for any prizes.

Lineup for floats and other entries begins around 2 p.m. in and around the First Baptist Church parking lot. Free bottled water will be available for parade participants, just see the parade staff located on Oliver Street beside the church.

    • Walkers are permitted, but will be required to keep pace with the parade’s forward movement.
    • Late entries / walk-ons permitted, just show up! But, will not be eligible for prizes and may be placed at end of parade.
    • Check In at 2:00 p.m. – First Baptist Church parking lot

There will be Parade Staff on horseback, golf carts, etc. in the area to direct entries on where to line up. Free bottled water will also be available.
